Nothing goes out
Most dictation software records you, sends the audio to a company's servers, and sends text back. That is how it gets accurate, and it is why it needs your internet connection and your trust.
Your voice is never uploaded, because there is nowhere for it to go.
Unplug the network cable and VozSay keeps working. Its voices are included with the installer. Optional cleanup models are downloaded only when you choose them: the app shows the size and asks first. Once downloaded, those models run locally too. The app has no account, telemetry or cloud processing. It does not send us your speech or dictated text, and its core features do not depend on an external service.
This page is built the same way: no fonts, scripts, or trackers are loaded from anywhere else.

How updates work. Your licence covers every update we release for your version of VozSay, at no extra cost. When a big new version arrives, with better voices or new features, it is a separate purchase, and people who already own VozSay get an upgrade discount. VozSay runs for 14 days before it asks for a licence. The trial is the full program, not a reduced version, and it does not ask for a card or an email address to start.
Known limits
Things worth knowing before you buy, rather than after.
- Windows 10 and 11 only. There is no macOS or Linux version yet.
- English dictation. Other languages are available for translation, but speech recognition is tuned for English.
- It cannot type into programs running as administrator. Windows blocks that for every application, not just this one.
- A blind user's screen-reading software may not be able to read VozSay's own windows out loud.
- Recognition quality depends on your microphone and your room, and no dictation software is perfect. That is what the 14 days are for.
- VozSay uses AI models that run on your own computer. They work on your words: transcribing what you say, and rewriting the text you provide when you use cleanup. Like any AI model, they can make mistakes, so review important text before you rely on it.
